I saw The Island a couple of days ago and was thuroughly entertained. I really liked that they created a whole new world for the story. I would like to see more stories told there! I liked all of the characters. Ewan McGregor is hot and Scarlett Johansson is not bad to look at either. My favorite part in the movie was the scene where some of the clones learn the word dude. There was this whole issue with memory that wasn't explaned very well. It seemed more like fantasy than science fiction. I said it was like logans run but the story really is different ... it just had the same feel. I'll leave it up to you to defend or critisize my statement.
At work today I was awarded "a cut above" pin. It's given if a customer is so pleased with the service in the store that they get a hold of a manager to compliment or write a note. I usually hear about it if I get compliments so it was a surprise to me. It was extra surprising because I thought that the lady who nominated me wasn't happy with me. I think she said thanks but I wasn't all cheery when I was helping her. I do that a lot. I am one of the best workers there and find/have answers for customers more often than most of the people who work there but I don't do it with a smile and a kiss to the ass. So anyway ... that makes 9. One more and I get a gold pin.
