iiiiiiiiii want caandy do do do, do do
I love candy. Everyone who reads this already knows I love candy. But it's worth stating because this love is not a healthy love. It is unrequited, it is obsessive, it is one of the pillars of my character. I am out of school, working out and trying to shake my candy habbit.
On the drive to the olentangy trail where Red Beard and I rode yesterday we heard a sound clip played on the Howard Stern show where some dude was saying that there is no such thing as addiction... repeated use of a harmful substance is the individuals' fault because he/she kept making the decision to do it. Well, I think I understand addiction. You do have a choice, but the decision has already been made and you can't argue with yourself. I am at the check out at the grocery and the devil on the left side says "mmm snickers that would rule oh man you are starting to drool see ... get the snickers," then the angel on the right side says, "Crystal, you already had four giant chewy sweet tarts today." The devil does a little dance and says, "Candy is so yummy your taste buds will tingle and your mood will most certainly be elevated. You are having a long day, you deserve it." The angel pouts and says, "you are trying so hard to cut sugar intake. Don't give in. Aw fuck it. I want candy." (my conscience is as dorky as i am)
what is everybody's favorite candy?

Pretty picture. I like candy bars--Snickers, Milky Way, etc. But your post reminded me--I also like giant chewy Sweettarts. But I try not to eat them too often, and unlike you I'm not addicted, so I can control myself.

i love all sorts of candy. i really really love krackel bars and reese pb cups and kit kats and hugs and kisses and swedish fish and gummy bears and starburst and skittles. ahhh hell. i am the devil on your shoulder! lately i have been eating mass quantites of smores made in the broiler. they arent the exact same but yet so deliciously satisfying.

I used to love candy when I was little (Spend my $0.75 on Jolly ranchers at Bear Hugs), but now I don't eat candy too often.
Switching gears, I like your painting. The interlocking rings reminded me of the Olympic symbol, so I was going to try to work in a joke about it being the symbol for the Chernobyl Olympics, but everything I wrote made it sound like I was putting it down.
Switching gears again, if you can't seem to shake your candy habbit, may I suggest shaking a candy hobbit? It's much easier, not to mention more fun.

My favorite is Reeses pieces! I also like m&m's with a cold pepsi. Or candy corn with popcorn. Giant chewy sweettarts are good too.
