stuff

This weekend my pops will be in town! He has a job down in LA for a couple of weeks and he's going to come up here to spend some time with me instead of flying home. I am pretty excited about it. I have to do some laundry so he'll have a towel.

I don't know what I am wearing to work tomorrow. I was thinking about wearing my yellow sleeveless shirt because it might keep me cooler but I'm afraid that I am just too boobalicious. I think that I look good in it but I don't know what the people I work with are going to think. They are all fat, bald, old farts and I don't want to offend (or treat).

It's hot out here. The power has been flickering. It's really bad for computers and I guess the cable company that I get my high speed internet from is having trouble with it too cause my internet went out twice on Sunday. I feel really cut off without internet. Some people might think that's a bad thing but I really don't.

internet don't ever leave me... tear

you waited and begged for this?

I ran today instead of playing video games. Everyone was being lame and not starting anything so I did something constructive. I ran two miles and walked another half mile. Now my leg is all twitchy.

Since I last posted, my Mom, Dad and sister Nikki came out to lovely California and I went to Sacramento for the AIAA JPC and a class. Acronyms ... TAKE THAT! You can read Nikki's blog to hear what we did in LA. She's more eloquent than I. The conference was a lot of people talking about their research. I liked the presentations on papers about rocket history. I might have to look some of them up and read them. The class was okay. It was about liquid rockets. I didn't get a whole lot out of it because it was an overview and I knew most of it. Then when they got into stuff I didn't know the guy talked too fast and it was after lunch and I was all full of food and sleepy. Anyway I hung out with Jennifer from work every night and we had some good food eating out in Sacramento. I ran a couple of times when we were there too. The tredmills were awesome. They had TV's in them and headphone jacks and they supplied headphones.

Today was a busy day at work after being gone for a week (and leaving with work undone). I'm flying back to New Orleans on Wednesday for another IPD test. I am really excited about it. I am hoping that nothing goes wrong because I'll be the AFRL rep. again and I really don't want to have to make any decisions. It's past my bedtime ...
